The internet does it again!  Thanks to PM Bro Bobby McIntyre, the pictures above were handed in. The oldest photography that the lodge has of any Past Master (on the left PM Bro Robert Moffat 1930-32). Middle PM Bro Jim McIntyre 1949 (First colour photo). Right PM Jim McIntyre Snr 1946 socialising.
Bobby regularly visits the website to keep up to date with whats happening in the lodge. A BIG thank you for these photos Bobby.

Master's Welcome

Firstly I would like to welcome you all to the Website of Lodge St John Stoneyburn No1186.

As I take my 2nd term as RWM (the first being 26 years ago in 1996), I extend the warm hand of

friendship to Old and New.

The lodge has seen a resurgence since our refurbishments and I'd like to extend my sincere thanks to my, now , IPM Bro Jamie Rafferty for all the hard work he does behind the scenes and behind the bar.

I am just on the chair and we are now into recess, however, this will give us all a chance to recharge our batteries in earnest for the forth coming season in September. Our first meeting on the 1st September will be the raising of my son Adam.

It's always special whenever you initiate family but the emotions were off the scale. I would like to thank everyone who attended on both of Adam's degrees.

To my Office Bearers , I'd like to thank you and congratulate you on taking up your respective posts and look forward to working with you all over the forth coming year.

Special mention to the Bro Secretary for all his help and assistance, we all know it is the Secretary which runs the lodge.

I hope you all have a peaceful and restful recess.

see you all on September 1st.

Alan
